Swerve Strickland Urges WWE to Protect Danhausen’s Momentum


 AEW star Swerve Strickland recently shared his thoughts on Danhausen’s WWE run, praising the fan‑favorite while also warning against overexposure.

Speaking with Fightful, Strickland admitted he’s thrilled to see Danhausen thriving, but he hopes WWE doesn’t “burn him out” too quickly.

“So happy for him. I just don’t want them to burn him out so quick before the year is over. I’m like, ‘No, you gotta cherish this guy.’ It’s a lot, and on both shows. He’s busy, he’s moving, he’s everywhere,” Strickland said.

Danhausen’s quirky character and unique charisma have made him one of wrestling’s most beloved personalities. His recent appearances across WWE programming have drawn strong reactions, but Strickland’s comments highlight a concern many fans share: that too much exposure could dilute the magic.

The balance between keeping a star visible and preserving their mystique is a challenge WWE has faced before. Strickland’s advice is simple — let Danhausen shine, but don’t rush the process.
