Asuka Confirms WWE Hiatus, Plans to Return


 Former WWE Women’s Champion Asuka has addressed the swirling rumors about her absence, confirming that she is currently back in Japan dealing with a personal matter.

In a post on social media, Asuka reassured fans that her time away is temporary:

“It’s already been about two weeks since my last match at Backlash. I know there are a ton of rumors flying around out there… People asking, ‘Are we going to see you again?’ Yes, I will return to WWE in the future.”

Her statement puts to rest speculation about whether she was stepping away for good. While she didn’t provide a timeline, Asuka made it clear that her WWE journey isn’t over.

For now, fans will have to wait, but her words confirm that the “Empress of Tomorrow” will be back in the ring once she’s ready.
