WWE star Chelsea Green has shared a major health update with fans, announcing that she recently underwent a heart procedure after doctors diagnosed her with supraventricular tachycardia (SVT).
The Announcement
Green revealed the news on Instagram, posting a photo from her hospital bed alongside husband and fellow wrestler Matt Cardona. “After 10 years, doctors finally caught my SVT and I was able to get a heart procedure done! Three hours later and I’m on the mend,” she wrote.
Her Wrestling Status
Green has not competed since February, when she broke her ankle during a triple threat match against Tiffany Stratton and Lash Legend. That bout was meant to determine a spot in the Elimination Chamber. While reports in March suggested she was close to being cleared from the ankle injury, this latest procedure means her return will be delayed further.
About SVT
SVT is a condition that causes rapid and irregular heartbeats. While often manageable, it can lead to further complications if untreated. Green explained that she had been dealing with the condition for a decade before doctors finally identified it.
Final Thought
Chelsea Green’s resilience continues to shine through. Though sidelined for now, her openness about her health battle has inspired fans and reminded everyone of the challenges wrestlers face outside the ring.
