Just weeks after releasing several talents, WWE appears to be shifting gears and looking to bring back familiar faces. One name making headlines is Baron Corbin, whose run with the company ended in 2024.
According to Fightful Select, backstage discussions have taken place about re‑signing Corbin, with sources suggesting he may have already agreed to terms or is close to doing so. This lines up with reports from Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer, who also noted WWE’s interest in bringing him back.
Since leaving WWE, Corbin—who wrestled under the name Bishop Dyer—has worked with promotions like MLW, CMLL, and WSW. Interestingly, he previously stated he wouldn’t return to WWE, citing a stigma attached to his character, but later admitted he might reconsider after some time away.
Corbin isn’t the only former star linked to a comeback. WWE is reportedly eyeing Enzo Amore, who was spotted at the Performance Center, while Amore’s former tag partner Big Cass could also be in play with his AEW contract nearing expiration. With WWE looking to bolster its tag team division, these names could factor into future plans
