Former WWE star Aleister Black recently shared the story of how he first discovered professional wrestling while growing up in the Netherlands.
Black recalled that wrestling wasn’t widely available in his country, but a chance moment with his father changed everything:
“There is no wrestling in the Netherlands. I remember I was four or five years old, sitting on the couch with my dad. He was flipping channels, and we had Eurosport. For a brief time, Eurosport had WWF.”
That glimpse of WWF programming sparked a lifelong passion, eventually leading Black to pursue a career in the ring. His journey from a curious child in the Netherlands to an internationally recognized performer highlights the power of inspiration and how a single moment can shape a future.
