Nia Jax & Lash Legend Eye WWE Women’s Title at Saturday Night’s Main Event


 The WWE Women’s Tag Team division is heating up again, and former champions Nia Jax and Lash Legend — known together as The Irresistible Forces — are back in the spotlight.

On the May 15 episode of SmackDown, Jax and Legend confronted current champions Brie Bella and Paige in a backstage segment, demanding another shot at the gold at Saturday Night’s Main Event. The champions later defeated Giulia and Kiana James in non‑title action, but they’re already scheduled to defend against Judgment Day’s Roxanne Perez and Raquel Rodriguez on Raw before SNME.

That means the Fort Wayne, Indiana Peacock special on May 23, 2026 could feature Jax and Legend challenging whoever emerges from Monday’s title match.

Bella and Paige only recently captured the belts at WrestleMania 42, with Paige making her surprise return to replace an injured Nikki Bella. Their first defense came on May 1, when they defeated Jax and Legend — setting the stage for this renewed rivalry.

With multiple contenders circling, the Women’s Tag Team Championship picture is more unpredictable than ever heading into SNME.
