WWE has confirmed the May schedule for World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns, giving fans plenty to look forward to before summer begins.
Fresh off his victory over CM Punk at WrestleMania 42, Reigns promised to stay active through the summer — and his May calendar shows he’s keeping that promise. However, his absence from June events raises some interesting questions.
Roman’s Key Appearances in May
May 9 – Backlash (Tampa, Florida) Reigns defends his championship against Jacob Fatu in what’s expected to be a brutal showdown.
May 11 – Raw (Knoxville, Tennessee) His first Raw appearance of the month.
May 18 – Raw (Greensboro, North Carolina) Another chance for fans to see the Tribal Chief live.
May 25 – Raw (Columbus, Ohio) Closing out his U.S. TV appearances for May.
May 31 – Clash in Italy (Turin) Reigns headlines WWE’s international premium live event, bringing his dominance to Europe.
What’s Missing
Notably, Reigns is not scheduled for Saturday Night’s Main Event on May 23 in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Even more surprising, WWE has pulled him from all June advertisements — including Night of Champions in Riyadh on June 27.
What It Means for Fans
May is packed with Roman Reigns appearances, capped off by a huge international spotlight in Italy. But his absence in June suggests WWE may be saving him for something bigger later in the summer.
