WWE Announces Sunday Night’s Main Event for Money in the Bank 2026 Date

WWE has revealed a major scheduling update as part of its ongoing European tour. During Raw live from Paris, France, the company announced that for one night only, Saturday Night’s Main Event will be rebranded as Sunday Night’s Main Event.

The special event is set for September 5, 2026, at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia, with tickets going on sale this Friday at 10 AM ET.

This change comes after WWE confirmed earlier in the week that Money in the Bank has been moved to October 10 in New Orleans, shifting away from its original September date. As a result, Sunday Night’s Main Event will now occupy the slot previously held by MITB.

Interestingly, MITB was initially scheduled for August 29, the same weekend as AEW’s All In at Wembley Stadium, though WWE has not provided an official reason for the rescheduling.

The last edition of Saturday Night’s Main Event took place on May 23, featuring three title matches. One of the standout moments saw Sol Ruca earn a shot at Becky Lynch’s Intercontinental Championship, which she later captured at Clash in Italy.

With this reshuffling, fans can expect September’s Sunday Night’s Main Event to deliver the same high-stakes energy WWE is known for, while October’s Money in the Bank promises to be a blockbuster night in New Orleans.
