Roman Reigns Triumphs in Tribal Combat, Retains World Heavyweight Title

Roman Reigns once again proved why he is “The Tribal Chief,” defeating Jacob Fatu in a brutal Tribal Combat match at WWE Clash in Italy to retain the World Heavyweight Championship.

The clash was intense from the opening bell. Fatu attempted to lock in his signature Tongan Death Grip early, but Reigns escaped and regrouped outside the ring. The fight quickly spilled into the crowd, through the concessions area, and back into the squared circle, setting the tone for a chaotic battle.

Weapons came into play as Reigns hurled steel stairs and used a toolbox to target Fatu’s hand, weakening his ability to apply the Death Grip. Despite the injury, Fatu fought valiantly, hitting a spear, a Samoan drop, and his Mighty Moonsault. Reigns, however, showed his cunning—surviving the onslaught, delivering back‑to‑back Superman punches, and ultimately using a low blow to shift momentum.

The turning point came when Reigns smashed Fatu into exposed turnbuckles, then speared him through a table set up in the corner. A final spear sealed the victory, forcing “The Samoan Werewolf” to acknowledge Reigns as Tribal Chief.

This win not only solidifies Roman Reigns’ dominance but also adds another chapter to his legacy as one of WWE’s most unstoppable champions.
